Senior Software Engineer, Windows Agent (Windows)

Location: Hybrid in Miami, Florida; required to work on-site three days per week at the Coral Gables office.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production-grade code for the proprietary Windows agent and supporting tools.
• Design OS-level features using Windows APIs, system internals, and inter-process communication mechanisms.
• Debug, optimize, and secure system-level code in complex enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with macOS and Windows engineers on shared architecture and cross-platform consistency.
• Research, prototype, and ship functionality improving endpoint visibility, security, and manageability.
• Participate in Agile development, CI/CD, code reviews, and testing practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Windows system development and production software engineering.
• Proficiency in C and C++, with the ability to work across languages for low-level system integration.
• Deep knowledge of Win32, COM, Windows internals, Windows services, IPC, plugin architecture, and automated deployment.
• Hands-on experience with WiX MSI, bootstrappers, upgrade-safe installers, PKI, X.509 certificates, cryptographic key management, and TPM architecture.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or batch scripting for diagnostics, deployment, or system configuration.
• Availability to work on-site three days per week in Coral Gables, Miami.

Nice to have

• Kernel-mode or filter driver development and Windows Driver Framework experience.
• WinUI 3, Windows App SDK, and MVVM experience.
• Experience with Windows MDM protocols, endpoint security, device management, or cross-platform agent development.
• Knowledge of Windows security controls including ACLs, SDDL, DPAPI, and secure credential handling.
• Experience with low-level performance profiling and diagnostics.
