Software Engineer - Edge

What you will do

• Develop high-performance software for distributed systems operating at the edge and in the cloud.
• Process high-bandwidth sensor and network data streams to deliver real-time insights.
• Architect optimized, hardware-aware software systems for far-edge environments.
• Build streaming ETL pipelines, inference platforms, and timing-critical applications.
• Collaborate directly with customers to define and refine requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions, and mentor engineers as needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong coding and debugging skills in compiled native languages such as Rust, C, or C++.
• Experience developing and debugging software for resource-constrained environments.
• Deep knowledge of computer architecture, OS internals, and hardware-software interfaces.
• Proficiency with Linux, IP networking, and systems programming, including device drivers or custom TCP/UDP protocols.
• Active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is also required.
