Engineering Manager (F/M) - Krakow (AI)

Location: Based in Kraków, Poland; hybrid setup. Occasional travel to Zurich, Lyon, Paris, and other company offices.

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and empower the engineering team responsible for Forms, Tasks, and Workflows.
• Own the technical vision and architecture for a secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable automation platform.
• Co-drive product vision and translate strategy into a clear technical roadmap with Product and PX.
• Improve delivery predictability, engineering quality, operational excellence, and cross-team collaboration.
• Drive adoption of AI in development, testing, design, and product capabilities such as natural-language workflow creation.
• Integrate Action capabilities across the wider hirify.global platform and support adoption by internal teams and partners.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience and proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience leading platform, product, operations, or automation-focused engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, scalability, and developer experience.
• Strong people-management, coaching, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Designers and working with agile processes.
• Based in Kraków, Poland and able to work in a hybrid setup.

Nice to have

• Experience with business process, workflow, or automation engines.
• Experience with permission and access-control systems.
• Exposure to AI-enabled workflows or agent-based systems.
• Experience in SaaS environments with large-scale deployments or multi-team platform organizations.
