Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Mexico City, with office attendance in CDMX at least 1 day per week

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy DevOps flows for a modern cloud-native digital product.
• Create and maintain CI/CD flows for the product, code quality, automated QA, living documentation, and developer tooling.
• Support adoption of cloud architecture, engineering best practices, and new cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with client engineering, cloud, and DevOps teams to align technology choices with enterprise standards.
• Provide technical guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams.
• Define and document application deployment and infrastructure maintenance strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a technical individual contributor putting software into production.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and cloud technologies, with expertise in Azure and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices for deploying software APIs and data pipelines to production.
• Proficiency with Docker and best practices for creating API services.
• Experience with SQL and scheduled data pipeline jobs that power other systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to modern JavaScript or TypeScript UI technologies, GraphQL, and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with GenAI technologies and retrieval-augmented generation.
