Senior Engineer Cloud Engineering (AWS)

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Provision and manage EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, and Elastic Load Balancer resources.
• Support infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor environments with CloudWatch and CloudTrail and troubleshoot infrastructure issues through root cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD deployments, infrastructure automation, and cloud-hosted applications in collaboration with application development teams.
• Implement AWS security best practices and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, including 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancer, and CloudWatch.
• Basic knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Linux administration skills and basic scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts, plus strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
• Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DNS, VPN, and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
