Learning & Development Specialist (AI)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $140,000–$170,000, plus variable compensation including a year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate learning offerings across professional effectiveness, written communication, leader and manager development, financial and technical skills, mentoring, and onboarding.
• Track the evolving AI landscape and apply AI to learning design, delivery, learner experience, and business impact.
• Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to create customized learning experiences, including case-based workshops, one-on-one tutorials, AI-enabled simulations, group coaching, and written guides.
• Facilitate learning sessions based on areas of expertise.
• Manage multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and drive projects from concept through delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five to seven years of professional experience, including experience in learning and development or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in and experience with generative AI and its practical application to learning and development.
• Ability to identify opportunities to incorporate generative AI into learning design, content development, and day-to-day workflows.
• Experience designing and/or delivering learning and development programming in one or more of professional effectiveness, written communication, manager development, onboarding, financial skills, and technical skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new content areas by researching and synthesizing a wide range of information and conveying it clearly and concisely.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, manage multiple workstreams, navigate cross-functional dependencies, and drive work forward with speed and sound judgment.

• Master’s degree in organizational development, organizational psychology, or a related discipline.
