Senior Instructional Designer (AI)

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct training needs analyses, identify performance gaps, and define learning objectives for complex technical environments.
• Design and develop training curricula aligned with organizational goals and government standards.
• Create multimedia and web-based storyboards, e-learning modules, instructor-led guides, and performance support tools.
• Measure training effectiveness using industry-standard metrics, including the Kirkpatrick Model.
• Collaborate with data science and technology subject matter experts to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI FS Poly clearance.
• Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Organizational Development.
• Current CPLP or CPTD certification.
• 8+ years of instructional design experience supporting federal government or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with the ADDIE model or Agile instructional design methodologies.
• Experience developing multimedia and web-based training content from storyboard through final deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora.
• Experience designing training for Data Science, AI/ML, or cloud infrastructure such as Databricks, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and e-learning accessibility standards.
• Experience managing content in LMS platforms and tracking SCORM/xAPI data.
• Graphic design skills or experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
