Field Service/Start-Up Engineer - Etch (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: North Phoenix (Deer Valley), United States; frequent travel to customer sites required

What you will do

• Provide on-site technical support and resolve customer equipment issues.
• Install, repair, inspect, and maintain etch equipment according to company and customer requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and accurately document service activities, repair records, and customer communications.
• Train customers in safe equipment operation and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with Service Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other teams on troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Promote safety, quality, risk awareness, and customer satisfaction in daily service operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software applications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Flexibility to travel frequently to customer sites, often on short notice.
