Senior Engineer (Rust)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate feed handlers across connected crypto venues.
• Lead exchange connectivity go-lives, including planning, staging, testing, cutover, and post-launch support.
• Debug complex production issues across exchange protocols and internal systems.
• Set technical standards for exchange integrations and contribute to HFT infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers working on connectivity components and lead technical direction.

Requirements

• Extensive production experience with crypto feed handlers across multiple venues at an institutional firm.
• Deep knowledge of market data feed handling, order lifecycle management, and multi-feed aggregation.
• At least 2 years of technical Rust experience, including synchronous and asynchronous code, plus at least 5 years of low-latency C++ experience.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP/IP networking protocols.
• Experience leading venue migrations, go-live cycles, exchange-driven changes, upgrades, rollback procedures, and production support.
• Professional English proficiency and experience with AI-first development workflows, AI harness engineering, and quality assurance.

Nice to have

• Production experience delivering AI code-generation workflows.
• Experience managing a connectivity engineering team or squad.
• Experience with TradFi and crypto protocols including FIX, ITCH, OUCH, WebSocket, and proprietary protocols.
• Ultra-low-latency development experience with kernel bypass or zero-copy techniques.
