What you will do
- Contribute to the Lightning Development Kit (LDK) by writing and reviewing code.
- Improve testing infrastructure and assist projects integrating LDK.
- Develop and maintain features including language bindings (Java/Kotlin, C#, Swift, JavaScript/WASM).
- Implement support for splicing, dual-funded channels, and Taproot features like PTLCs and multi-sig scripts.
- Enhance the performance, scalability, and robustness of the LDK protocol.
- Work on passion projects to improve the bitcoin ecosystem.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with bitcoin and the Lightning Network.
- Proficiency in Rust, C, or C++.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build creative solutions to complex problems.
- Strong appreciation for bitcoin and open-source development.
