Maintenance Technician II (PLC)

Location: Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia; onsite shift work with call-back requirements

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production process equipment to support consistent output and optimal performance.
• Identify preventive maintenance requirements and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Diagnose and correct equipment faults using PLC systems.
• Manage spare-parts inventory within budget to minimize equipment downtime.
• Participate in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and workplace safety activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent training and demonstrated capability.
• Diploma or vocational qualification with a Machine Certificate or equivalent.
• Willingness and ability to work shifts and respond to call-back requirements.
• PC literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong PLC programming knowledge, preferably with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi systems.
• Ability to interpret complex mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
