What you will do

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical installations and utility systems supporting production.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on air compressors, vacuum systems, gas farm systems, HVAC, DTV, exhaust ventilation, fire protection, PCWP, and other facility systems.
• Conduct inspections and ensure electrical installations comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and company safety standards.
• Diagnose equipment failures, respond to breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliability improvements.
• Record operational and maintenance data, prepare reports, and maintain inspection and regulatory documentation.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, modification, upgrades, facility expansion, and energy-efficiency projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Valid Chargeman Certificate A1 or A4 issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) is required.
• Registration and certification with the relevant Malaysian regulatory authority are required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, or utility operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, utility equipment maintenance, electrical drawings, schematics, LOTO procedures, and electrical risk management.
• Willingness to work shifts, standby duties, and emergency maintenance assignments is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of facility utilities, energy management systems, or building management systems.
• Exposure to Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Fresh certified Chargemen may be considered for junior positions.
