Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Manage equipment form-factor conversions, setup, and buyoff activities.
• Support continuous improvement projects and new equipment installation or setup propagation.
• Troubleshoot major equipment issues and support spare-parts inventory purchasing.
• Train employees on new standard operating procedures and machine operation.
• Follow OSHA safety and health standards while supporting equipment operations.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering discipline related to automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Good command of English is required.
• Expertise in control systems.
• Basic knowledge of machine programming languages such as PLC; experience with C++, Python, and CAD is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Understanding of AI infrastructure, including large language models, machine learning, or agentic AI.
