Technician 3, Test Equipment Maintenance

What you will do

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain test cells, testers, baggers, VDCS, and conveyor systems.
• Resolve test cell yield issues to protect product quality and production throughput.
• Investigate equipment-related quality incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform product conversions, equipment checklists, and preventive maintenance activities according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor process variables and equipment performance using KPOV, OEE, maintenance logs, and digital preventive maintenance systems.
• Support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement projects, engineer activities, and technical training for team members.

Requirements

• Diploma or advanced/higher/graduate qualification in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• 4–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, bearings, gears, conveyors, pumps, and compressors.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, relays, drives, valves, cylinders, and pressure controls.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and equipment manuals, isolate equipment failures, and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE usage, ISO documentation, and cleanroom protocols.

Nice to have

• Basic PLC and automation or controls troubleshooting experience.
• Exposure to preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment.
