What you will do

• Lead the development of new HTS coil manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Support the design, development, and commissioning of tooling and machinery.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations to enhance process capability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition novel concepts into scalable production-ready processes.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers while balancing technical delivery with people leadership.
• Analyze manufacturing performance to make data-driven decisions and troubleshoot technical challenges.

Requirements

• Significant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven track record in implementing new processes, tooling, or manufacturing technologies.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience.
• Strong hands-on engineering capability and experience in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
