Senior Android Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and build advanced Android applications for financial-services use cases.
• Develop a retirement income planning platform that helps advisors model pension accumulation and withdrawal strategies, optimize portfolio composition, and assess portfolio sustainability across life scenarios.
• Collaborate with team leadership, Product Owners, Designers, and other technologists to deliver software for enterprise and public app stores.
• Apply robust software architecture, engineering best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Break down complex client challenges into elegant technical solutions.
• Improve application quality and performance by testing, resolving defects, and optimizing code.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering and maintaining large-scale enterprise Android applications.
• Expert-level experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM architecture in production Android applications.
• Experience working with remote data through REST and JSON, as well as third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• College degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
