Facility Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Mojave, California or Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Travel is estimated at approximately 5–10%.

Salary: $185,000–$205,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the facility clearance process and build, implement, and manage the company security program.
• Administer classified-information security, clearance processing, visitor control, document control, classification management, and asset protection.
• Develop and maintain GRC processes aligned with NIST SP 800-171, NISPOM, JAFANs, ICDs, DD254 requirements, and related government standards.
• Manage physical security systems, access controls, badging, alarms, inspections, investigations, and emergency or contingency planning.
• Lead the Insider Threat Program as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official and provide security education and training.
• Coordinate with DoD, DSS, NISP, DISCO, DOHA, federal investigators, prime contractors, and subcontractors on security requirements and clearance matters.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as an FSO and 5 years of physical security experience.
• At least 8 years of experience administering SAP and SCI security programs or comparable clearance administration and specialized security experience.
• Experience with NIST, JAFAN, ICD, NISPOM, DD254, clearance coordination, document control, and access-control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of relevant work experience; understanding of DoD 8570.

Nice to have

• SPED or Industrial Security Professional certification.
• Program Security Officer’s Launch Course or Security+ certification.
• Experience as a COMSEC Custodian, with Information Assurance, System Security Plans, or Program Protection Methodologies.
