Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite at the Long Beach facility. Travel is required between Southern California locations, the Washington, D.C. office, and potentially overseas offices. The role requires U.S. export-control eligibility as a U.S. person or eligibility for deemed export licensing.
Salary: $114,000–$162,000 USD per year.

What you will do
- Lead enterprise-wide physical security operations across multiple facilities and oversee site security teams, guard forces, and vendors.
- Direct responses to significant security incidents and critical events, including executive communication, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Drive crisis management, emergency preparedness, business continuity, risk assessments, compliance audits, and security performance metrics.
- Manage Facility Security Officer duties, including DD254 tracking, facility security programs, inspections, audits, and government assessments.
- Manage personnel security clearances, briefings, debriefings, foreign-travel procedures, security incidents, and classified-material controls.
- Partner with Security Technology, IT, Cybersecurity, Facilities, Legal, People, and Operations teams to strengthen enterprise security.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience managing security teams, including at least three years as an FSO or CSSO supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs.
- Certified FSO experience and experience leading an organization through the Facility Security Clearance process.
- Knowledge of DCSA audits, physical security systems, access control, CCTV, and incident response.
- Experience managing vendors and contract security personnel, with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel between required company locations.
- U.S. export-control eligibility is required.
Nice to have
- Active security clearance, preferably Top Secret/SCI with an in-scope polygraph.
- Aerospace or other controlled/high-risk environment experience.
- CPP, PSP, or similar advanced certification.
- Familiarity with ICS and FEMA emergency-management frameworks.
- Experience working with local or federal law enforcement.
