Civil Designer (Data Center)

What you will do

• Produce civil drawing sets for data center site development, including grading, drainage, erosion control, and utilities.
• Turn around drawing revisions within a day to meet permitting and construction deadlines.
• Build and maintain civil CAD standards, templates, and detail libraries to ensure project consistency.
• Coordinate civil sheets against structural and architectural models to identify and resolve clashes.
• Prepare permit exhibits, plats, and agency-requested revisions to keep submittals moving.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (On-site role)

• Proven experience drafting civil construction documents in Civil 3D or AutoCAD that were issued for construction.
• Ability to build surfaces, grading, corridors, and pipe networks in Civil 3D from survey data.
• Experience managing tight deadlines where submittal dates are critical.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining airtight drawing sets and resolving callouts.
• Experience setting up or maintaining CAD standards for team use.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center, industrial, or utility-scale solar site work.
• Proficiency in Revit or Navisworks for coordination.
• Experience with survey data processing, permit exhibits, or SWPPP drawings.
