Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage full life-cycle project design from initial kick-off to construction document production and oversight.
• Produce technically accurate engineering reports, calculations, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with clients regarding technical design issues and manage submittals.
• Utilize design software including RISA, Enercalc, RAM, Bluebeam, and Revit to deliver project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Structural, or Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis from an ABET accredited school.
• Passed F.E. exam; California PE license is strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in building design, preferably with critical facility experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and experience with high seismic structural design (SDC D, E, or F).
• Must be based in Oakland, CA to support a hybrid work schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with high wind or blast-resistant design.
