Business Operations Manager, International Operations (Fintech)

Location: Remote across EMEA

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Launch hirify.global’s product in new countries by leading operational research, tooling, stakeholder coordination, and SOP development.
• Design scalable, automation-friendly VAT and GST compliance workflows using RPA tools, SQL, and AI agents.
• Pilot operational systems from 0–1, document workflows, train teams, and scale processes across regions.
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce manual work, and implement automation and tooling to improve operational efficiency.
• Resolve complex international operations issues and build preventive systems for recurring edge cases.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience to support regional launches and go-to-market execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations experience in a fintech, SaaS, or compliance-focused startup.
• 2+ years of remote work experience in globally distributed teams.
• Experience building structured processes in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets, AppScript, RPA frameworks, stakeholder management, and vendor management.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a tax-adjacent field.
• Remote work from the EMEA region is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with indirect tax, VAT/GST products, or tax compliance operations.
• SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.
• Experience implementing AI tools or automation agents in operational workflows.
• Exposure to Salesforce and state or international tax portals.
