TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails): Building and maintaining scalable, secure back-end infrastructure and REST APIs for a B2B SaaS identity security platform with an accent on software architecture, database design, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on developing asynchronous processing systems, optimizing application reliability and performance, and supporting high availability and disaster recovery.

What you will do

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain back-end components for web applications.
Build and integrate REST APIs with front-end engineers to support data flow and system interoperability.
Optimize code and testing practices to improve application reliability, performance, and security.
Contribute to cloud infrastructure development and maintenance, including scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams on requirements, technical specifications, and product launches.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, estimation, prioritization, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of Ruby on Rails back-end development experience.
Strong individual contributor capable of joining an existing project and contributing within one week.
Experience building and integrating REST APIs in Rails.
Experience with asynchronous processors such as Sidekiq, Resque, ActiveJob, or Shoryuken.
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts in Rails, computer science fundamentals, and automation testing technologies.
Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction and holistic user experience.

Nice to have

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and interest in scalable and secure system development.
