What you will do

• Collaborate with the Single Cell Technology team on large-scale single-cell perturbation experiments using custom chemistries.
• Build recombinant DNA vectors through synthesis and cloning.
• Prepare, titer, and apply lentiviral and AAV vectors to transduce mammalian cell lines and primary cells.
• Help scale and improve pooled single-cell perturbation screens.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related natural science, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a cell or molecular biology laboratory.
• Experience with molecular cloning, RT-qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and related molecular biology methods.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with next-generation sequencing assays, functional genomics, or single-cell genomics.
• Experience with FACS or flow cytometry.
• Python programming and Unix skills for next-generation sequencing analysis.
• Experience with epigenetic reprogramming or targeted epigenetic editing.
