Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $150,000–$400,000 base salary per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI platform for SAP teams that modernizes legacy code, redesigns business processes, and resolves production issues in enterprise environments.

What you will do

• Build agent infrastructure for navigating, understanding, and operating on large enterprise codebases, including code search, authentication, sandboxing, tool calling, and orchestration.
• Design evaluation frameworks, instrumentation, feedback loops, and reproducible tests to improve agent performance on customer workloads.
• Build infrastructure for enterprise deployment across multiple AWS accounts, including automated deployments, RBAC, permissioning, SSO, audit, and data residency capabilities.
• Support cloud and on-premises environments with reliable, secure infrastructure.
• Ship backend services, enterprise integrations, and client applications end-to-end.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience shipping production systems end-to-end.
• Professional experience with Python, JavaScript/React, and Go.
• Strong cloud and infrastructure skills; AWS and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or a similar tool are required.
• 3+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, and distributed systems engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Production experience with LLMs and AI agents, clear communication skills, and the ability to work through ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience at an early-stage startup.
• Open-source contributions in AI tooling, developer tools, or adjacent areas.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, or similar agent development tools.
