Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in Latin America

Salary: $84,000 – $120,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and build scalable systems, focusing on the hirify.global Experts platform.
• Collaborate across research, product, and design teams to ship features rapidly.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and high-level design discussions.
• Solve real-world scalability and reliability challenges for AI data pipelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in Latin America.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong coding fundamentals in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and system design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS), Kubernetes, APIs, and NoSQL databases.
• High-output, high-accountability mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
