Director, Product Operations (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; North Carolina Research Triangle or East Coast preferred. EST-aligned US availability expected. Occasional quarterly travel is required for company meetings, leadership offsites, and team events.

Base salary: $170,000–$220,000 per year across the US.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and continuously improve the Product organization’s operating model.
• Establish planning, execution, governance, reporting, and delivery review practices across Product and Engineering.
• Monitor execution health across multiple teams, surfacing risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and organizational friction.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and scale effective operating practices across product organizations.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows, delivery intelligence platforms, automation, and executive dashboards.
• Build and lead a high-performing Product Operations function and support OKR implementation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of leadership experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, Delivery Management, Engineering Operations, Product Strategy and Operations, or a similar role within a SaaS or technology organization.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Design, and executive leadership.
• Experience designing or improving operating models for software development organizations.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and modern product development lifecycles.
• Experience with organizational change, scalable operational processes, AI-enabled workflows, automation, OKRs, operational metrics, and executive reporting.
• Must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
