Director - Product Operations (SaaS)

Location: Fully remote within Canada

Salary: CAD $140,000–$210,000 annually, plus eligibility for incentive compensation and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Own the Product Operations strategy, operating model, planning frameworks, and organizational rhythms for Product and R&D.
• Lead annual goal setting, quarterly planning, capacity reviews, and operating cadences across Product, R&D, and Go-to-Market.
• Define product toolchain strategy, governance, data standards, adoption practices, and transition plans.
• Champion AI-enabled workflows for product planning, documentation, decision-making, and execution.
• Turn operational data into executive insights and metrics covering delivery effectiveness, capacity, maturity, and organizational health.
• Lead and develop the Product Operations team while partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, Finance, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or a related discipline in B2B SaaS or software, ideally at Senior Manager or Director level.
• Experience designing, building, and scaling Product Operations functions and operating models.
• Direct people management, mentoring, capability building, and high-performing team development experience.
• Expertise in product planning frameworks, operating models, modern product tooling, governance, and organizational data standards.
• Executive communication, analytical, strategic judgment, systems thinking, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and AI-enabled workflows, including embedding AI into product planning, documentation, or operations.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, email security, enterprise SaaS, organizational design, Go-to-Market coordination, product launches, or company-level operating models.
• CSPO, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or MBA credentials.
