CNC Programmer / Machinist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for prototype, tooling, and low-rate production components.
• Machine aluminum, stainless steel, steel, and titanium components, including large structural parts, battery and electrical housings, and test tooling.
• Develop CNC programs in Autodesk Fusion and operate Haas three-axis and five-axis mills.
• Design and build fixtures, work-holding systems, tool lists, and machining strategies.
• Use Renishaw probing systems for setup, in-process verification, and inspection, including first-article inspections.
• Support manual mill and lathe work, saw operations, deburring, thread work, equipment care, and the development of shop standards and workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC programmer/machinist in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
• Significant experience machining large aluminum structural components.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Fusion CAM and Haas VF-series three-axis and Haas five-axis mills.
• Hands-on experience with Renishaw tool and part probing.
• Experience designing fixtures, executing complete machine setups, and performing manual mill and lathe operations.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, datum structures, inspection techniques, and independent process decision-making.

• Experience supporting prototype and low-rate production environments.
• Experience scaling machining processes toward higher-rate production.
• Experience establishing or growing a machine shop function.
