Staff Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC, United States; in-office Tuesday–Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $135,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex technical solutions and enterprise platforms.
• Define technical architecture and make design decisions for distributed applications.
• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Support software maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and all phases of the SDLC.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements to software solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong object-oriented programming and software design fundamentals.
• Required hands-on experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience building modern web applications with React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs, enterprise applications, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, MassTransit, or similar event brokers, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience leading software engineers, working in Agile/Scrum environments, and a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
