Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET.
• Develop infrastructure for payment routing, connector management, token intelligence, and platform configuration.
• Design secure RESTful and event-driven APIs for customer-facing applications, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Build observable, resilient services that process high-volume payment transactions.
• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, technical decisions, and system performance improvements.
• Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and own the full lifecycle from requirements through deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production backend services.
• Strong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or other high-volume transaction-processing environments.
• Experience designing RESTful and/or event-driven APIs.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience building secure, scalable cloud-based applications and providing hands-on technical leadership.
