Senior Manager, Core Infrastructure (GCP)

Annual US hiring range: $170,000–$190,000

What you will do

• Lead and grow the Core Infrastructure team, setting its vision, priorities, and execution plan.
• Design, deploy, and operate shared GCP cloud services, including organizations, folders, networking, load balancers, compute, and base images.
• Develop Terraform frameworks and manage infrastructure upgrades.
• Define and enforce cloud platform practices for scalability, security, observability, and maintainability.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to enable fast, safe, and reliable development and deployment workflows.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement in automation, processes, and infrastructure reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong expertise in GCP organization and folder structures, networking, compute, load balancing, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing and operating scalable, reliable cloud systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, team-building, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical understanding.

Nice to have

• Experience managing base images and automated upgrades.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security best practices.
• Experience in high-growth technology companies, preferably SaaS or CCaaS.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams.
