Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant (Financial Services/Banking)

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom; must live in the UK within commuting distance of the office and attend weekly. Approximately 30% travel required.

Base salary: £75,000–£150,000 GBP per year, with potential eligibility for a commission plan.

What you will do

• Lead the technical aspects of enterprise software sales cycles from initial meetings through final presentations.
• Partner with Account Executives on account planning, sales goals, discovery, and revenue targets across financial services and insurance accounts in the UK and Ireland.
• Build and present proof-of-concept applications that address specific customer problems.
• Prepare technical responses for RFPs and formal proposals and handle detailed product questions and technical objections.
• Explain technical capabilities and business value to executives, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Build long-term customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams to support deal closure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer for enterprise software.
• Hands-on technical background, such as experience as a Software Engineer or Technical Consultant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience selling into Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or related sectors.
• Ability to discuss production environments, APIs, application servers, and databases and answer deep functional questions.
• Must be based in the UK, within commuting distance of the London office, and willing to attend weekly.
