Senior Presales Solutions Consultant, Card Issuing & Processing (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end presales activities for complex card issuing and processing opportunities.
• Partner with sales, product, delivery, and technology teams to qualify opportunities and develop pursuit strategies.
• Coordinate RFPs, Rhirify.global, and due diligence questionnaires, ensuring compliant and high-quality submissions.
• Design and present solutions aligned with business, technical, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Engage client stakeholders, gather requirements, explain solution value, and build trusted relationships.
• Develop proposals, presentations, demonstrations, solution narratives, pricing strategies, and commercial structures.

Requirements

• Approximately 8+ years of experience in presales, solutions consulting, solution engineering, or a comparable client-facing role within payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of card issuing and processing ecosystems, including transaction lifecycles, authorisation, settlement, and payment flows.
• Experience leading complex RFP, RFI, and bid management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication, presentation, storytelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities across sales, product, delivery, and technology functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with API-driven platforms, cloud-native solutions, and modern digital payment architectures.
• Exposure to merchant acquiring, open banking, digital wallets, cryptocurrency and digital assets, or account-to-account payments.
• Understanding of payment regulations, card scheme rules, compliance, and risk considerations.
• Experience with issuing or processor platforms, switching infrastructure, international card markets, cross-border payments, or multi-currency environments.
• Fluency in an additional European language.
