Field Marketing Director (AI)

Location: San Francisco office; on-site

Salary: $180K–$220K annually, plus equity and commission.

What you will do

• Build and own the field marketing calendar, covering major industry conferences, field trips, and high-touch executive experiences.
• Design and deliver targeted events that generate pipeline, support revenue growth, and strengthen customer and prospect relationships.
• Lead event creation, production, logistics, staffing, vendor negotiations, and on-site execution.
• Build the field marketing motion and scalable playbooks from scratch.
• Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and customer-facing teams on targeting, outreach, and follow-up.
• Measure engagement quality, pipeline attribution, cost efficiency, and post-event impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning and executing B2B field marketing events with measurable business results.
• Experience building or rebuilding a field marketing motion from scratch, supported by practical playbooks.
• Experience partnering with Sales and Partnerships on account targeting, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up.
• Experience with vendor management, event registration, post-event workflows, and metrics tracking.
• Comfort working with senior executives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• A strong network of event industry contacts, including venues, production agencies, and AV partners.
