Engineer II, Continuous Improvement

What you will do

• Lead plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements.
• Drive plant-level Lean deployment through Tiered Daily Management, 5S and Safety, SMED, and related programs.
• Plan and conduct Kaizen events while training and mentoring teams in PDCA and Value Stream Mapping.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools and data mining techniques to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate workflow, resource allocation, and process optimization implications of new product transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills across organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in core industrial engineering techniques.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Proactive and flexible approach to supporting organizational objectives.
