Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; in person 5 days per week

Salary: $175,000–$290,000 per year, plus equity and bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own and lead engineering projects across hirify.global’s software offerings.
• Design and implement enterprise-level application interfaces.
• Develop complex, performant agentic workflows.
• Architect full-stack infrastructure for high-performance applications.
• Retrieve and work with large corpora of unstructured enterprise data.
• Evaluate LLMs across application-layer use cases.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Customer obsession and a focus on developing highly intuitive products.
• Ability to collaborate with operations, go-to-market, and deployed services teams.

Nice to have

• Next.js experience.
• Previous startup experience.
