TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (AI): Building core user interfaces, APIs, backend infrastructure, dashboards, and data visualizations for AI-powered financial products with an accent on end-to-end ownership, investment logic, and reliable production systems. Focus on designing fullstack architecture, integrating research and quant data pipelines, improving observability and performance, and shipping maintainable features in a high-ownership environment.

Location: Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

Design, build, and maintain frontend applications and backend APIs for core product experiences.
Translate investment logic, simulations, and data pipelines into reliable product surfaces with research, quant, and product teams.
Build internal dashboards, tools, and data visualizations for portfolio monitoring, experiments, and operational workflows.
Own features end to end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration.
Improve code quality, usability, reliability, performance, CI/CD, tooling, interfaces, and documentation.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a fullstack engineer in a startup, product team, or high-ownership environment.
Strong JavaScript or TypeScript framework skills, including React or Next, plus backend development with Python, Node, Go, or similar technologies.
Experience building, testing, and deploying production web applications.
Experience designing and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, with strong data modeling and system-boundary fundamentals.
Strong debugging, performance, and reliability skills, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.
Comfort using modern AI coding tools while maintaining maintainable code and clear structure.

Nice to have

Mobile development experience with React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or similar technologies.
Experience with financial systems, portfolio data, or high-stakes user experiences.
