Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, New York, United States; on-site 5 days a week

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build and evolve LangGraph workflows for AI agents handling SMS and voice conversations.
• Ship end-to-end features across a Python/FastAPI backend and Next.js/TypeScript dashboard.
• Develop within a multi-tenant Supabase/Postgres environment using account-scoped queries, RLS, and JWT-based access.
• Build evaluation frameworks to detect agent regressions before they reach customers.
• Integrate with real-world CRM systems including Salesforce, ServiceTitan, LeadPerfection, and AccuLynx.
• Partner with the voice team on real-time agent behavior and optimize omnichannel experiences across SMS, voice, and email.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of full-stack experience shipping production software at a startup, high-velocity SaaS, or AI-driven company.
• Experience building LLM-powered features and interest in working with LLMs in production.
• Working proficiency in Python with FastAPI and TypeScript with Next.js and React Query.
• Comfort working with production systems and learning multi-tenant patterns, including RLS, account-scoped queries, and JWT-based access.
• Experience debugging APIs and tracing issues across services and data pipelines.
• Ability to work on-site in the New York City office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or other agent frameworks.
• Real-time voice or audio experience with LiveKit, Daily.co, or Twilio Voice.
• Experience with LLM observability tools such as Langfuse, LangSmith, or Helicone.
