Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; on-site in the NYC office five days a week

Base salary: $140,000–$180,000 plus equity

hirify.global builds AI systems for home-services, construction, and remodeling operators, including production AI agents for SMS, voice, and email conversations.

What you will do

• Build and evolve LangGraph workflows for SMS and voice conversations.
• Ship features across a Python/FastAPI backend and Next.js/TypeScript dashboard.
• Develop within a multi-tenant Supabase/Postgres environment using row-level security, account-scoped queries, and JWT-based access.
• Build evaluation frameworks to identify AI agent regressions before production release.
• Integrate with Salesforce, ServiceTitan, LeadPerfection, AccuLynx, and other real-world CRM systems.
• Partner with product, design, senior engineers, and the voice team on real-time agent behavior and omnichannel experiences.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of full-stack experience shipping production software at a startup, high-velocity SaaS, or AI-driven company.
• Production experience with LLM-powered features and interest in developing deeper expertise.
• Working proficiency in Python with FastAPI and TypeScript with Next.js and React Query.
• Comfort debugging APIs and tracing issues across services and data pipelines.
• Willingness to work with multi-tenant patterns, RLS, account-scoped queries, and JWT-based access.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or other agent frameworks.
• Real-time voice or audio experience with LiveKit, Daily.co, or Twilio Voice.
• Experience with LLM observability tools such as Langfuse, LangSmith, or Helicone.
