Senior FP&A Analyst (SaaS)

Location: US-based; North Carolina Research Triangle or East Coast preferred

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year across the US

What you will do

• Prepare monthly business reviews, quarterly board packages, executive presentations, and strategic reports.
• Analyze actuals versus budget and forecast targets, explain performance drivers, and update forecasts and management commentary.
• Build and improve financial and operational models using SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn, and LTV.
• Lead profitability and margin analysis by product line, customer segment, company, and project.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success on planning and performance analysis.
• Improve reporting and planning workflows through automation, AI-assisted analysis, M&A due diligence, benchmarking, and commission administration.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the US without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, consulting, investment banking, or a related analytical discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus advanced financial modeling experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfort using AI tools in a professional finance context and interest in building AI-assisted workflows and automated analyses.

Nice to have

• Software or SaaS industry experience, preferably in a PE-backed company.
• US GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge.
• ARR/MRR waterfall, headcount, or three-statement modeling experience.
• Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Tableau, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Mosaic, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, or Xactly.
