Senior Project Manager, Public Sector (Contingent Hire)

Location: Remote within the United States; must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident able to work domestically.

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 annually, contingent on contract award and funding.

What you will do

• Lead complex federal technology and digital services projects from discovery through deployment.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, forecasts, invoicing, and project profitability.
• Facilitate Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and project health checks.
• Translate requirements into actionable project plans and user stories with technical leads.
• Act as the primary client contact and trusted advisor for federal stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams of designers, developers, strategists, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of project management experience, or a master’s degree with 7+ years.
• Experience leading federal government technology, digital services, web, CMS, cloud, data, or digital transformation projects.
• PMP certification and strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, resource allocation, and project financial performance.
• Strong understanding of Firm Fixed Price contracts, FAR/DFARS requirements, and federal procurement processes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident able to work domestically and able to obtain and maintain any required Public Trust or security clearance.
