Field Service/Start-Up Engineer - Certas (Semiconductor)

Location: Manassas, United States; frequent travel to customer sites required

What you will do

• Provide on-site technical support and resolve customer equipment issues.
• Install, start up, repair, inspect, and maintain equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document service activities, repairs, and customer communications.
• Train customers in safe equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams on troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Identify operational risks and promote safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software applications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Flexibility to travel frequently to customer sites, often on short notice.

• Semiconductor industry experience.
