Process Technician (OLED Materials)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; on-site

Salary: CAD 55,000–75,000 per year

What you will do

• Operate R&D and production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform thin-film transmittance and reflectance measurements, OLED IVL performance measurements, and degradation testing.
• Assist facility engineers with repairing, modifying, and setting up equipment.
• Support process engineers with equipment and laboratory maintenance, data processing, and report preparation.
• Provide software improvement feedback for programs used with R&D and production equipment.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures, report hazards, and help reduce environmental impacts.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in science or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent hands-on, organizational, time-management, analytical, follow-up, and communication skills.
• Understanding of design of experiments, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work all shifts, including morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Experience operating vacuum equipment.
• Experience working in a cleanroom.
• Experience working with a glovebox.
