Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; work at the Vancouver facility

Compensation: CAD 25–27.50

What you will do

• Support the optimization of assembly processes to improve quality and production efficiency.
• Develop and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, routings, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, process validations, and production trials under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Monitor production processes, participate in root cause analysis, and support quality assurance activities.
• Collect and analyze production data and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste and improving output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing technology and process changes, technical reports, and operator training.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 standards, and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with close attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills in a manufacturing environment.
