FP&A Site Lead (Biotech Manufacturing)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 110,000–162,500 per year, plus annual cash bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own FP&A for the hirify.global Biotechnologies site and partner with the Site General Manager and functional leaders.
• Lead budget, forecast, and long-range planning cycles across manufacturing, operations, quality, sciences, and G&A.
• Analyze batch economics, capacity utilization, client mix, COGS, inventory reserves, and headcount to provide monthly insights and recommendations.
• Deliver financial reporting packages, dashboards, KPIs, and capital project tracking for the site’s expansion program.
• Partner with Accounting on close activities, accruals, reserves, standard costing, and COGS maintenance.
• Support ERP migration, Adaptive Planning adoption, scenario modeling, and AI-enabled FP&A automation.

Requirements

• Significant FP&A experience supporting manufacturing sites and building financial models for manufacturing operations.
• Strong financial, analytical, presentation, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, technical accounting pronouncements, ERP systems, and FP&A platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to manage rigorous deadlines, multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and collaborate across functions and stakeholders.
• Ability to present financial findings to senior management.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience with manufacturing exposure.
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO experience.
• B.S. in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or an MBA.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Planning, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or Microsoft Great Plains.
• Experience with Power Query, XLOOKUPs, dynamic arrays, Copilot, Claude, or other generative AI tools in a finance context.
