Product Owner (SaaS)

Location: UK - London, hybrid working with an office between Moorgate and Old Street

What you will do

• Own and prioritise the Activation squad backlog, translating roadmap priorities into user stories and buildable tickets with the Lead Engineer.
• Run day-to-day delivery, including standups, refinement, sprint or flow management, unblocking, and scope decisions.
• Manage smaller improvements and fixes alongside larger product initiatives.
• Coordinate releases and launch readiness across QA, customer support briefings, rollout planning, and live tracking.
• Track delivery progress and feature performance after release, feeding insights back into the roadmap.
• Conduct regular customer research, including conversations with HR buyers and brokers at least monthly.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a delivery-side product role such as Product Owner, Associate Product Manager, or Delivery Manager.
• Experience in B2B2C SaaS, onboarding, or growth-related product work is preferred.
• Strong backlog organisation, prioritisation, and sequencing skills.
• Comfort with agile delivery tools such as Jira and writing clear user stories with solid acceptance criteria.
• Clear communication with engineers and stakeholders, including sound escalation and decision-making.
• Curiosity about users and confidence participating in customer conversations.
