Senior Analytics Engineer (Snowflake/dbt)

What you will do

• Create and maintain complex, scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Expose trusted datasets through Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Snowsight, and other BI tools for self-service analytics.
• Perform data ingestion and activation using no-code tools, including Fivetran and Stitch.
• Manage dataset metadata, documentation, data quality checks, and sensitive data masking.
• Identify data quality issues, coordinate resolution with process owners, and train teams on effective BI tool usage.
• Mentor junior analytics engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in analytics engineering or related data roles.
• Advanced SQL, dbt, and Snowflake expertise.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Snowsight.
• Experience with data ingestion and activation using no-code tools such as Fivetran or Stitch.
• Knowledge of metadata management, documentation, data quality checks, and sensitive data masking.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration, training, and informal mentorship skills.
