System Integration Engineer (Hardware Verification)

What you will do

• Translate hardware NUDD requirements, product requirements documentation, and usage models into concrete hardware verification strategies.
• Develop verification methods and plan and assign tests across the United States, Shanghai, and JDM partners, with major activity in Asia.
• Manage, develop, and execute hardware verification activities covering color-material-finish, packaging, mechanical, environmental operation, signal integrity, audio amplifier performance, AC/DC power supply, unit boot, thermal measurement, and product operation life testing.
• Drive verification schedules, status tracking, results, failure analysis, and corrective actions through issue closure, independently or through global JIRA bug review meetings.
• Improve automated test methodologies and optimize the efficiency of verification processes.
• Train Product Integrity Engineering and contract manufacturing engineers.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of experience in product development or hardware verification.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Linux and Python, and signal processing techniques.
• Hardware system work experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Passion for learning, initiative in taking on challenges, and a drive to achieve results.

Nice to have

• Product hardware development or hardware verification experience with global teams and ODM, JDM, or OEM partners.
• Experience with wireless communications, audio, and acoustic products.
• Understanding of hardware and system design quality concepts.
• Familiarity with Audio Precision equipment, high-speed oscilloscopes, and thermal loggers such as Keysight 34972A or equivalent.
