Expert Electrical Engineer

Location: Suzhou, China; based in the Suzhou office.

What you will do

• Evaluate new hardware concepts, engineering approaches, and technologies for products serving Chinese users.
• Identify technologies that can improve products and create technology roadmaps for their adoption.
• Develop technology building blocks for new products and support product design and development.
• Work with business groups to gather requirements and understand potential demand for new technologies in China.
• Prepare technical documentation, synthesize findings, and propose product capabilities.
• Collaborate with Chinese partners and suppliers to develop and commercialize technologies while partnering with embedded software, connectivity, mechanical engineering, marketing, design, architecture, and program management teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of electrical engineering design experience.
• System engineering skills, including system-level thinking for design and problem solving.
• Curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies.
• Ability to synthesize information and make proposals.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
