hirify.global develops advanced rocket propulsion systems, including Rotating Detonation Rocket Engines and Venus Detonation Ramjets, for space, defense, and commercial high-speed flight.

What you will do

  • Assess CAD models and drawings for tolerancing, GD&T, design for manufacturability, and compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Design tooling and validate MBOM structures, assemblies, parts, and quantities.
  • Review, approve, release, and distribute manufacturing technical data while maintaining process documentation.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, test, and analysis teams to integrate specifications into manufacturing workflows.
  • Manage suppliers and vendors involved in sourcing and qualifying aerospace materials.
  • Train production personnel and lead continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace propulsion.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA, plus CAM software and JIRA or Atlassian tools.
  • Understanding of AS9100, ASME drawing standards, aerospace materials, and propulsion system components.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Rotating Detonation Rocket Engines or similar advanced propulsion technologies.
  • Experience with advanced and additive manufacturing techniques for aerospace components.
  • Experience implementing automation systems in manufacturing processes.
