Salary: $147,000–$209,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Lead daily manufacturing and test operations for development programs, low-rate builds, and prototype fabrication.
- Develop manufacturing readiness roadmaps aligned with program maturity gates and MRL advancement.
- Manage facility equipment, tooling inventory, maintenance, qualification, and requalification activities.
- Own CAPEX planning and execution, including capital investment justification and facility capability improvements.
- Supervise, coach, and train production technicians while maintaining training materials and records.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, safety, operations, supply chain, and program teams to improve manufacturing execution and support audits, reviews, FMEAs, RCCA investigations, HARs, and pre-ship reviews.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for the required U.S. security clearance are mandatory.
- 8–12 years of related experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, operations, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience leading manufacturing or operations personnel in a DoD or aerospace environment, including development, prototype, low-rate, first-article, or early-stage hardware programs.
- Experience with facility CAPEX planning, non-conformance processes, root cause and corrective/preventive action, and MRB activities.
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and/or ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience; approximately 25% travel is required.

- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Rocket motor manufacturing and test experience.
- Facility design and setup experience.
- EVMS Control Account Manager, CQE/CQA, or Lean certification.
